acquaintance was like that only.

We cannot describe our good luck or whatever we can attribute to his association.

December 25 th is his birthday.

What a man!

Mama was a hero to me.

A walking encyclopaedia.

A rare mixture of everything great.

So glad that he knew me,spoke for hours with us, sharing amazing things which was never published anywhere.

A stalwart in a variety of fields!

Humour which never hurt anyone.

A straight shooter.

Called a spade a spade.

I am blessed mama.

Revelling in your memories.

Will miss you as long as I live.

Dr S.S.Badrinath the doyen of Shankara nethralaya is no more.

His achievements in the field of opthalmology is running into pages.

He made quality eye care affordable to many throughout India.

We came to know of his demise through social media only and since then I spent quite sometime surfing through all the news channels especially Tamil.

Not a single channel reported anything about this great man.

What a shame!

All the channels should hang their heads in shame.

Had this been a movie actor the channels would fall over one another reporting,filming from thei respective houses to the cremation ground.

Shame on local media!
